My Dilemma

* * *

God’s Word speaks of us being Christ’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20). An ambassador giving a promise in the President’s name without the President’s endorsement would face terrifying consequences. Nevertheless, I loathe mentioning such offenses.

I later provide Scriptures and explain a little more why, in instances like this, I feel forced to walk a dangerously high tightrope. On one side, are the Bible’s solemn warnings about one’s responsibilities to alert people to spiritual dangers. On the other, are equally dire warnings about the consequences of judging others.
