Matthew 3:1-2 In those days, John the Baptizer came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!”

Matthew 4:16 From that time [as soon as Jesus was baptized, tested in the wilderness and John the Baptist was imprisoned (Matthew 3:16-4:16)], Jesus began to preach, and to say, “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand [precisely the same message as John the Baptist].”

Mark 6:12 They [the disciples sent out two by two] went out and preached that people should repent.

Luke 13:3 I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way. [Repeated just two verses later (Luke 13:5)]

Luke 24:46-7 He said to them, “Thus it is written . . . that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord

Acts 11:18  . . . and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!”

Acts 20:21 testifying both to Jews and to Greeks repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.

Acts 26:20 but declared first to them of Damascus, at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

Romans 2:4 Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let’s press on to perfection – not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works . . .

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Revelation 2:5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent and do the first works; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lamp stand out of its place, unless you repent.

Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
