When Faith and Prayer are Not Enough


Exodus 14:15 The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward. . . .”

Joshua 7:8,10-12 Oh, Lord, what shall I say, after Israel has turned their backs before their enemies! . . . The Lord said to Joshua, “Get up! Why have you fallen on your face like that? Israel has sinned . . . Therefore the children of Israel can’t stand before their enemies . . .”

1 Samuel 15:22  . . .Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the Lord’s voice? . . .

Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? . . . Then . . . your healing will appear quickly . . .

Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear. But your iniquities have separated you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Micah 3:4 Then they will cry to The Lord, but he will not answer them. Yes, he will hide his face from them at that time, because they made their deeds evil.”
