All of Scripture

Of course the New Testament emphasizes the critical importance of love, such as:

John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.

1 John 4:8 He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:20 If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

But note this:

Matthew 22:35-40 One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him. “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?” [i.e. the Mosaic Covenant] Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ The whole law and the prophets [i.e. the revelation of God in the entire Old Testament Scriptures] depend on these two commandments.”
