The Need to Endure

Hebrews 12:3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 6:12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial [or endures temptation] because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. Revelation 13:10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. Revelation 14:12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus. (Emphasis Mine)
