1. Demons Causing Bodily Movements

Luke 4:35  . . . the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them . . .

Luke 8:29 For Jesus was commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For the unclean spirit had often seized the man. He was kept under guard, and bound with chains and fetters. Breaking the bands apart, he was driven by the demon into the desert.

Luke 9:39,42 Behold, a spirit takes him, he suddenly cries out, and it convulses him so that he foams, and it hardly departs from him, bruising him severely. . . . While he was still coming, the demon threw him down and convulsed him violently. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

Matthew 17:15 Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic, and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.

Mark 1:26 The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.

Acts 8:7 For unclean spirits came out of many of those who had them. They came out, crying with a loud voice. Many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed.

Acts 19:16 The man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

2. Demons Speaking Through People

Luke 4:33-34 In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!”

Luke 4:41 Demons also came out of many, crying out, and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Rebuking them, he didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

Matthew 8:28-29,31  . . . two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs . . . “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?” . . . The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”

Acts 19:15 The evil spirit answered, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you?”
