1 Samuel 22:5 The prophet Gad said to David, “Don’t stay in the stronghold. Depart, and go into the land of Judah.” Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hereth.

2 Samuel 12:1,7 The LORD sent Nathan to David. . . . Nathan said to David, “. . . This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says . . .”

1 Chronicles 17:1-4 When David lived in his house, David said to Nathan the prophet, “Behold, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the Lord’s covenant is in a tent.” Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart; for God is with you.” That same night, the word of God came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell David my servant, ‘The Lord says . . .’”

2 Chronicles 29:25 He set the Levites in the Lord's house with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet; for the commandment was of the Lord by his prophets.
