It is not enough to start of well

Proverbs 24:27 Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. afterward, build your house.

In other words, first get yourself financially established. In the Bible, the house often refers not to a physical shelter but to what we would call a household or a family. For example:

Exodus 2:1 A man of the house of Levi [i.e. a descendant of Levi] went and took a daughter of Levi as his wife.

Numbers 20:29 When all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they wept for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel [i.e. all of Israel’s descendants]

2 Samuel 7:11-12  . . . Moreover the Lord tells you that the Lord will make you a house. When your days are fulfilled, and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up your offspring after you, who will proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom. [David’s house that God will establish are David’s offspring.]

2 Samuel 9:3 The king said, “Is there not yet any of Saul’s house, that I may show the kindness of God to him?” Ziba said to the king, “Jonathan still has a son, who is lame in his feet.”

Mark 3:25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand [i.e. a household].
