The Jewish Sabbath Ended at Sunset
Mark 1:21,32 . . . on the Sabbath day . . . At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick, and those who were possessed by demons.

Leviticus 22:6-7 the person that touches any such shall be unclean until the evening. . . . When the sun is down, he shall be clean . . .
Deuteronomy 23:10-11 If there is among you any man who is not clean . . . He shall not come within the camp; but it shall be, when evening comes, he shall bathe himself in water. When the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.
Deuteronomy 16: 6 . . . there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun . . .
